Newbie to Lemur (oldie with Ableton!) Needs Advice!

Hello forum,

I have a specific requirement of something I want to use Lemur for and I'm so nearly there but just can't quite figure out how.

Firstly, my config:

My lemur is connected to the right WIFI network, the daemon is running with MIDI Yoke and Ableton Live 8.2.6 is receiving MIDI signals from Lemur.

so then I input a new midi channel in Ableton, assign an instrument to it. tap some notes. I then put lets say a chorus, reverb and a compressor on the FX of that channel.

I want to design a lemur control for certain functions inside the chorus / reverb / compressor on that channel with faders, balls, switches, etc.

How do I tell THIS fader in Lemur to control THAT chorus slider in Ableton? and THIS switch in lemur to turn THAT ableton feature on / off?

Please let me know how to do this, maybe a simple example would be grand? I've read through the manual and so far I've managed to get the keyboard module in lemur to output notes to ableton, but not managed to make a slider change the volume.

Your advice is appreciated:)

Alec, UK

i think you just have to pass in midi learn mode (MIDI button in the top right of ableton) and select the parameter you want to assign to the lemur. parameters should appear in blue. when it's selected, move the lemur slider or button or else and it should be assigned.
if it's a parameter inside reaktor or another type of vst, click on configure (without being in midi learn mode) and move the parameter inside your vst. the parameter should appear in live's section of the vst and then you can assign it in midi learn mode.
