SUPER BUGGY!!!!

After spending many hours programming lemur templates in t he last 10 days, I've had my work disappear at least 10 times. Both on the ipad1 and the lemur editor (mac), I'll open up a template only to find that more than half the objects have disappeared.
What a huge waste of time and money. **** this ****.
Goodbye.

Hi
Are you using 3.02 or 3.01? Have you contacted support directly?
I have not have too many problems with my own work -i7 10.6.8. & iPad2 iOS5. .
Have had some weirdness trying to stick several large templates together as one but somewhat expected as they were never planned for use that way . . .
Have not had objects disappearing from saved files . ..
Perhaps wait till they can at least do a few software updates before passing final judgement . . .
Cheers
MM

Hi,
Thanks for getting in touch. Sorry to hear you've been losing work. File size is getting truncated over 512kb. This is a known bug and should be fixed in the next update of the Lemur Editor.
If you're experiencing any other issues please send an email to
support@liine.net
Best regards,
Nick

Guys! Please also fix the issue with the timecode 0, we can't use Isadora with lemur.
Please as soon as it is possible.

Hi
Just wondering what you mean by 'issue with timecode 0' ??
What are the issues with Isadora? I thought it spoke both MIDI and OSC, so it should work . . .
What are you trying to do with timecode between Lemur and Isadora?
Cheers
MM
PS Any chance of changing the title to this post to something better/more accurate . . .

I think the title is accurate. This software is unacceptably buggy. I was really excited when it first came out, spent my hard-earned money, put many hours into programming, and I've pretty much had to walk away from it all because it just doesn't work.

I guess it is a case of 'your mileage may vary' . . .
It certainly works for me with only a few issues that I am sure are being tweaked out as I write.
It certainly does pretty much everything (plus a bit more) that a hardware Lemur does, so it is certainly functional.
Having tried various music software for over 20 years there is no way I would shout this as 'super buggy' . . .
I'm sorry that you have had dramas and hope you hang in for at least the next update or two and see what happens . . .
Cheers
MM

Hey, I'm glad it works for you. Hopefully it'll work for me some day.

i agree with Macciza
as a owner of the legacy hardware Lemur, i must say that this new 'skin' is in fact for the same furry animal!

I've been in touch with Mark @ Isadora. A very old detail of the OSC spec was implemented different on Isadora and Lemur side. This should be fixed in the next version.
Best regards,
Nick
