Lemur issue on iPad 9.3.5

I have an iPad 3 (3,1) running a custom Lemur template. Whenever I switch off the iPad, or if I switch to another app and switch back, Lemur no longer functions. The on-screen animations do not happen and it doesn't transmit MIDI. This started happening when I upgraded to iOS 9.3.5. Unfortunately, it isn't possible to downgrade the OS because earlier versions are not "signed" by Apple. I have Lemur version 5.3.2. Thanks for your help.

Could someone let me know if this is happening on all iPads or just mine? I tried deleting the app and reinstalling, but the problem is still there.

sorry, cannot replicate the problem you have. Strange. I work with iPad 2, iPad 4, iPad Pro, and never encountered the problem you describe.

It's frustrating because I can't downgrade the iPad back to working condition. I already tried deleting the app and reloading it.

Can someone please check this bug? This is on iOS 9.3.5, the maximum supported on iPad 2.
The app has not been updated since 2015, is it abandoned now?

A former coworker gave me an iPad 2 with a cracked screen to fix up... I still haven't fixed it, but I can try to replicate sometime in the next couple of weeks
Also the app isn't abandoned, Nick pops up every now and again to confirm it's still being supported

I still haven't had the time to try to replicate this issue, but since others have been unable to, I'm wondering if you have tried doing a clean install of iOS?
Unfortunately, support for apps on older versions of an operating system usually aren't a priority for software development companies, so I wouldn't expect future updates to fix your issue
