Lemur input port?

Hi,
I want to send OSC from Reaktor to Lemur to update Lemur's controls. What is the default input port? Is it the same as the outgoing port you set up on the iPad?

If its anything like the legacy lemur, it should be 8001. if not, then its changed from legacy to ipad. good luck.

From the Lemur Manual:
For Native Instruments’ Reaktor, the default port number is 10000.

Ah HA! It's 8000.
Thanks for the tip - I searched the user manual for "8001" and it said the app uses 8001 and 8002 to communicate with the editor software, and not to use those, and recommended using 8000 to send to Max MSP, so I tried that one on a hunch.

Yeah that's what I'm using to send from Lemur to Reaktor. But I want bidirectional OSC so changing a snap or moving a control in Reaktor will update the Lemur controls. So it's 8000 for that. I wonder if they will allow that to be changed in an upcoming release.

i hope they do, however if its like JazzMutant for their old manuals then you will be lucky to find a complete manual that tells you everything you need with all the correct info. its generally good, but doesn't explain more complex stuff and has small errors. I guess that's what happens with a 170ish page manual and having it quite complex in nature.

Heh, I learned Reaktor when the documentation for it was even scantier than it is now, so no problem... I'm used to hunting around for clues.
As long as the manual stays more or less on the same planet as the product, I'm OK with that.

Haha, that's awesome! Just to let you know, another good tool (for now) is the old Lemur forum. There is TONS of info up on there and previously asked questions. Its all the same (for now) btw the Legacy and iPad so its a really really good reference tool. i am currently researching a lot of topics i am interested in and saving them, cause come January I think it might be a goner.
