I'm pretty sure it isn't possible now, but are you guys working on a way to send midi or osc from iPad Lemur to iPad synth apps, internally?

Thanks for bring lemur back to life!

We're looking at this. One challenge so far is that it seems that the small (but growing!) number of apps that support this often implement internal MIDI in different, and not always, compatible ways.

Yes you CAN do this now! I just tried it with the APP MidiBridge installed. All you have to do is setup Lemur Midi targets both from and to, to MidiBridge. If your other app supports it, it will work. I'm playing Sampletank right now :)

I can see (and hear) that some apps work already like animoog, alchemy, nlog, loopy,... as I can select them directly in the Lemur midi target options.

Which app are not working ?

So far with a quick test, Animoog, Sunrizer and Samplewiz work for me. I'm guessing anything with virtual midi in will work to some extent.

Yes. Still getting the hang of the iPad. Of course, the synths must be open in order for them do be seen. Doh! But, still, most don't seem to have the option of changing what midi channel they listen to. Core Midi needs IAC. A matter of time, I suppose.

Is it possible to use CoreMidi without an app like MidiBridge? Most of my other apps, Midi Monitor, animoog, Loopy HD seem to handle this fine. I am using iOS 6 on the iPad 2 and the latest version of Lemur.

Lemur doesn't seem to handle this consistently.
Problems I have found:

1. Lemur will sometimes and sometimes not find Animoog when it is set to MIDI In = Network session. I tried both starting Animoog first and starting Lemur, in both cases from directly after powering on the iPad with no other apps running. Because the problem is intermittent it makes it useless for a performance.

2. Lemur will also sometimes and sometimes not find my Akai EIE attached via the camera connection kit. This is USB class compliant device and the other apps such as Midi Monitor, Loopy HD,and Animoog seem to always find it. I have tried both connecting the usb device both before and after powering my iPad on.

Thanks for any help.
