Hi
I've followed the installation steps and cannot get the Lemur daemon to list the ipad. Running OSX Lion 10.7.2, checked firewall settings.
I was able to upload a template from the editor via the wifi network without problems, in the same way as shown in the instruction video.
Please help..

HI,
I've got the same problem, deamon does not "see" the lemur (will not show up in the list when opening app). Anyone a idee how to fix this?

Same error ...
Lemur Daemon not appear in the "setup" and the Lemur editor gives me an unexpected error and closes ...
For technical reasons I have version 10.6.2 and I can not update.

I had the same problem.
Solution was to restart the IPad and the mac.
However the ip of the ipad showing up in the lemur editor was not something like 10.0.2.1 but a "normal" ip.

High All
Did a quick check in Lion 10.7.2 - Editor appears to work fine for me.
At first I could not see the iPad from the computers Daemon setup app but then I did it from the iPad instead and now it sees it fine.
So for people having issues at the moment with accessing the iPad from the computer Lemur Daemon please try setting them up from the iPad
You can do that from the settings button at top right. and then you should also be able to see it from the computer.
Hope that helps
Cheers
MM

Hi Guys,
Once you have the ad-hoc running the Lemur Daemon open and the Lemur Editor open you should launch the Lemur App from your device (iPad, iPhone, etc.) and assign the MIDI ports from the settings page, which you can access by tapping on the "gear" icon on the top right corner of the main screen.
In the Settings page of the Lemur app, assign MIDI 0 as follows:
From: Daemon Output 0
To: Daemon Input 0.
From now on every time you launch the Daemon and the App the ports will automatically be assigned.
Let me know if that worked for you guys.
Cheers,
Marino.

Hi Marino,
It worked both ways, as the manual also mentions.
The problem is that by watching only the video you come to expect the daemon behavior shown there - however that video depicts the behavior after having gone past the first time setup...
So the video is confusing in that sense.
I hope everyone else sorted their problems too. Thank you for all your time.

Hello, when I try to connect my Lemur (iPad) at same time that my Lemur (Legacy) I canĀ“t. My Lemur Editor only lets me connect to one of them. Is it not possible?
Thanks and best regards!
