Velocity sensing Keyboard

Hello,
Is there a virtual keyboard with velocity sensing whereby the velocity is determined by where the key is struck?
Further up high velocity, further down on the key and get lower velocity, or the reverse can be selected. Any
keyboard layout is welcome.

Yea there are quite a few, though not all of them are general purpose. Have a look around the user library, Also it shouldn't be too difficult to make a basic one.
I think this one by softcore does it (not sure). And he has a new version he has released/releasing.

Take a look around for others, Maybe the liveControl layouts have something like that?

haven't used Softcore's Advanced Keys much, as I remember it is very well done.
For iPad there are indeed a few more options. One example is the app SynthX. Its keyboard can send note commands and velocity/volume on the y-axis for each note independently. But it seems it is no more supported, and not very obvious to configure. But I still like this app, as synth (with very good sound) and as a controller for any kind of synthesiser. Then there is the famous Geo Synth. Also with an integrated synth/sample player engine which can act as a MIDI controller with y-axis for velocity/volume, and also not easy to get MIDI output. It has also polyphonic pitch bend, something you only get from expensive hardware keyboards. Another app is Animoog which has a nice MIDI out feature with y-axis velocity/volume ($5 in app purchase). Which I don't have, I mean the IAP. It's a good iPad keyboard, although I find the one from SynthX even better. There are others I don't remember exactly, and I guess that is not what you are looking for.
I don't use these apps anymore myself. They are great. The reason why I don't use them is the renaissance of polyphonic aftertouch keyboards at a very affordable price, and lightweight (QuNexus, Xkey).
To create such an expressive keyboard in Lemur I think it is a good idea to test Advanced Keys first. It seems quite perfect.
