I have just bought an IK Multimedia iRig MIDI 2 interface. The interface is detected by Lemur and I have set it input and output 0. When sending MIDI messages from Lemur, the output LED is not lit although it is when sending messages from a test MIDI app (MIDI Wrench). I haven't connected the iRig's MIDI output to the input of my computer's MIDI interface but I suspect there is an issue already.

I am running Lemur 5.0.2 on an iPad Air 1 (aka iPad 5th generation) under iOS 8.1.3.

Is anyone using that interface successfully ?

The iRig MIDI 2 works flawlessly !

Just don't forget that in Lemur, MIDI channel numbering starts at 1 and not at 0.

Now all the troubles I had with wireless are gone. Also with 14-bits encoding and split transmission over MSB + LSB control change messages there's enough resolution (one could even split the data over three bytes and get a resolution of 21 bits - but the receiving application should be specifically programmed to handle such splitting).

The only drawback is that you cannot connect the mains adapter while using the iRig. It's OK for concerts but could be a problem for rehearsals.
