Hi, I'm very confused !
I can get Lemur to work using Midi Network Setup
Set up an Adhoc connection using Wifi - Create Network
I choose the Local Name my ipad - Session 1 in Lemur on the app and then choose the same name in Traktor
It works
I'm confused, what is Session 1, is it the default name for core audio over wifi ?
The problem is the Daemon shows no connections. Is this a problem ? It seems that its best to use the Daemon ?
If I try and use the Daemon I don't get any connection showing as in the video so try and do it manually.
0 -There are no connection options on the iPad other than Session 1
If I try and configure manually in the Daemon the connection is always red as below.
1- Select local port for midi in - I choose Daemon output 0
2 - Select destination port for Daemon output 0 - I choose my iPad Lemur in 0
3 - The connection is red
4 - I have also tried using Session 1 but this comes up red also
I can connect with the editor with no problem. Sorry if this is confused, I am a bit lost now,
Thanks

I'm having the same issue and I'm a beginner so I have no solutions. Just wanted to raise my hand, same red output, and befre it would automatically recognize it. Editor connects fine. Im on OSX 10.10.1 and iOS 8.1.2

Session usually refers to a Network MIDI port, Apple's implementation of the RTP MIDI protocol. This is configured in Audio MIDI Setup.
However, for normal Lemur usage, I recommend using Lemur Daemon. It's strange that the Daemon ports are in red. Please make sure that you're running the latest version of Lemur Daemon (get the latest installer for the website). Make sure that you don't have a firewall running on the computer.
