Template not populating

Currently running an iPad Air 1 with iOS 8.1
I ran Lemur with other templates and they worked fine (They didn't require anything to be populated)
I downloaded the "LiveControl_2_1_31" template from the User Library on Liine's site
The template is NOT populating my track names or activating anything in my session but I CAN see that Live is receiving midi input from it when I look at the "Midi In Indicator" (little square, top right corner)
Here is the kicker though:
-Out of all 4 tabs in the template (Launch, Modulate, Play, and Sequencer) it only receives signal when I'm pushing buttons while on the "Play" tab of the template.
I desperately need the Launch tab to populate and list my tracks for a show coming up.
Any ideas?

Hi
Have you gone through all the required setup?
Placed the scripts where they need to go in Live? And restarted Live after that?
Activated the correct Control Surface script with correct ports in Lives prefs?
Got your Lemur MIDI targets setup correctly and MIDI ports setup in Live right?
It runs fine here

Definitely "Yes" to all of those you listed except the MIDI Targets part.. I'm still a little unclear on that.
I know that OSC 0 is supposed to have a default port of 8000 (correct me if I'm wrong), but what IP is supposed to be in the "Host".
I would also like to add that I run TouchOSC fine with no problems whatsoever. It populates my tracks just fine.. so I don't know if that's worth noting. The only difference I can see between the TouchOSC and Lemur is that TouchOSC uses ports 5000 and 5001.
I also forgot to mention that I'm running on a MacBook Pro (mid 2014)

Hmm
Sounds like you need to actually go thru the setup docs, LiveControl 2 uses MIDI not OSC. -
http://liine.net/en/products/lemur/prem ... control-2/
The only real default OSC port is that Lemur on the iPad is set to 8000 - but that is just for when you are sending to Lemur.
Max often uses 8000 so is often used when talking to Max on a computer.
The host field is for the name or ip of whatever you want to send to, computer, iPad, OSC aware hardware etc.
If wanting to set it to your computer name (i.e. CodeBook.local from Settings) is often best to avoid dynamically changing IPs
Cheers

I went through the documentation and I'm still lost. I've done everything it said to do even though the instructions are a little short and vague.
I put my computers name in the "Host" field of OSC 0 and I've also tried putting my computers adhoc ip address in but it still doesn't work
So do I need to leave OSC 0 blank?
Again, everything works fine on other templates. It's only LiveControl 2 that's not populating. I've screened youtube for "Lemur setup" videos but everyone,so far, seems to completely leave out the OSC Target setup or dance around it and only mention it in passing.

Thats the LiveControl documentation here
https://liine.net/assets/files/lemur/LC ... OSXWIN.pdf ??
Because there is no mention of OSC as it is not used, and is not the issue here . . .
What are your Live prefs ? LiveControl 2.1.31 selected as Control Surface to properly set up Daemon ports.
And the Track, Sync and Remote settings for the MIDI Ports? Are they set properly as per the docs?

Live preferances are:
Control Surface - LiveControl2_1_31
Input - Daemon Input 0
Output - Daemon Output 0
I set the Track, sync and remote settings like the doc in the beginning and it didn't populate. I then watched this video,
http://youtu.be/6Hjk2e2D9yM ,followed the instructions precisely, and it still didn't populate.
I know that I am setting up the Daemon in's and outs correctly in the Daemon tool.. Ands far as I can tell everything works like its supposed to, minus population of the clips and clip names. I'm just wondering if it's something I'm missing in the "More Settings" menu in the Lemur app itself
Oh and thanks for your help in this. I really appreciate it. I don't like posting on forums unless necessary and I felt out of options after two days of trying to figure this out.

Got it working! It was the template itself.. Don't really know what but I downloaded another copy from a different source and its working fine!

Ash yes
Well everything earlier was based on you having the correct and working Lemur project
Had gotten to the point that that was the only possible culprit left
I was about to suggest that you re download it from the Liine site as the version I got there works fine
Glad you got it sorted, remember to check that sort of thing if you have problems ...
Cheers

I have this exact same problem : everything is set up as described in Lemur and Live. I've uploaded the template from your site to my iPad2. The template is empty and absolutly no control works... It seems the lemur daemon doesn't work as I don't receive anything from it in Midi Monitor.
I have used this combination in the past with success, albeit with earlier versions.
