Custom sized interfaces and native scrolling...

Hi all
Well this one slipped under the radar . . .
You can now define custom sized interfaces in the editor...
AND the app will enact native scrolling via sidebars!!!!
Yes they do take up a dozen pixels or so but you get that . .

This gives us an easy way of making scrolling interfaces, and opens up some interesting possibilities...
As well as the current selectable interfaces, or tabs, or scripted scrolling/tabs etc
I wonder if any of it is exposed to script control???

Thanks Liine ...

Whoa wow! thanks for bringing that to my attention! Yes this does open up some potential. If anyone has some wisdom on the script control, I look forward to your post.

So . . . how do we do this again?

I'm looking at the editor right now and it doesn't really jump out at me.

I've seen the project size options, but didn't think about bigger sizes. Good idea, will think about it.

Sorry
Go to the pull down for project size - i.e. iPad, iPhone etc
Bottom of list is new entry "Manage" - Click that ..
In new window name and setup required size

helpful hint - I think the scrollbars are 14 px wide . . .

Enjoy . . .

Cheers Macca! :)

A slight failure of terminology in the thread title methinks - since adding a new 'page' defaults to 'Interface', and the API uses 'selectinterface' . . . naturally I was looking for it somewhere in the treeview, right-clicking these etc.

[edit]

Also . . . as a feature it's a bit all-or-nothing - it would definitely be preferable to have this definable on a per-page basis, as it doesn't play well with multi-page templates. That is of course, unless it can be scripted to do so - ie: when scrolled, one can pop back to a defined position on switching pages. Or something along those lines.

That said, I'm sure it will be a welcome addition for many.

Is there any way for us windows users to have the latest desktop editor without the latest daemon?

Yo Softcore - see here:

But in case it isn't quite fixed, you can probably use something like 7-Zip to extract the contents of the installer.
