Hello everybody!
I'm using the ipad Lemur app with ableton 9 on a windows 8.1 computer with Live Control 2
My virtual midi is loopBe30.
I have two midi ports on, 1 and 2. When I follow the instructions here
https://liine.net/assets/files/lemur/LC ... OSXWIN.pdf
and here http://desertsoundstudios.com/2013/lemur-setup
I get the Lemur to work well with Ableton Live! I press a button and the button in Ableton is pressed. However, after about 5 seconds of button pressing, LoopBe30 tells me that it sensed a feedback loop so it silences the midi port 2.
Afterwards, I get the message you see here: http://oi61.tinypic.com/20r08pk.jpg . When I get the message, Ableton still receives key presses on the lemur, but the output on ableton does not update the lemur on the ipad, so I'm pressing keys blind. This makes sense since loopbe30 silences midi port 2, which is the one that outputs the ableton info and sends it to the ipad.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? I dont know how I'm creating a feedback loop that then mutes my Midi port 2.
Thanks a bunch!
Best,
Appleslice

Re: Lemur/iPad/Ableton/LoopBe30 Midi Feedback Loop issue
What are your settings inside "Midi -sync" options of Live. Im also using LoopBe30 since I got Lemur and have never had this problem.
edit: Although I just checked and I have disabled "shortcut detection" - I figured I didnt need the extra process and just make sure to know what Im connecting where.
