Launch_Quit Apps via osc/midi from within Lemur?

Hello!
Problem to be solved*************
Ipad with Lemur is in DJ booth. Controlling VDMX-powered vid wall. with several other, less stable apps on the machine.
Mac that is being controlled is in a machine room. Pain in a** to get to, and is on other side of the building. Once or twice a week the Mac requires some "attention", such as reboot, restart problematic app, etc. I want the DJ to be able to flush the problem remotely.
SO :
Is there a way to trigger the launching/quitting/Force quitting of a Mac App from within Lemur itself?
I can do everything needed using some Automator Apps if I can figure how to just say "go"
Dont care if the solution is an Applescript / Automator Apps / shell commands / flag semaphores / bears on tricycles, etc.
Any ideas?
thanks!!
