Lemur not recognizing compliant device (Akai EIE)

Lemur will not recognize the Akai EIE interface while every other app has no problem. Auria, DAW, all Synth apps and most importantly MidiBridge all find and utilize the Akai EIE with no issues. Its one thing that Lemur doesn't recognize the EIE, but when i plug it into the CCK, all the other targets disappear from the list of available targets, making it impossible to use MidiBridge as a bandaid to this issue.
This has been mentioned in the forum before but was wondering if there was any progress. Can I expect this problem to be resolved in the next couple of updates or should i pursue another avenue? Can you at least explain why this is happening? Just curious why the most important app for Midi can't work with my device that's working so well with everything else?!?
Using Ipad 3 with iOS 6.xx. Thank you!

this is not as it should be. Don't know why this happens. What I can say is that unplugging and re-plugging devices sometimes help, in some cases it is absolutely necessary for a device to properly work. For example, the Maestro app for the Apogee Duet 2 does recognise the device, but doesn't let me go into the settings. I have to have Maestro open, unplug the Duet, re-plug it, then Maestro lets me go into the settings. I find this very primitive and unprofessional, but alas it is not a rare exception, it is quite common when you work a lot with computers and interfaces. There are even interfaces that need to be un- and re-plugged during installation, otherwise they will never work. Very primitive indeed.
So maybe you can try to un-/re-plug the EIE while Lemur is running.

thanks for the help. I've tried every iteration of opening/pluging/starting/unplugging, you can think of.
another user has reported the same issue:
http://forum.liine.net/viewtopic.php?f= ... eie#p14149
I can have the target window open, it will list all open midi apps, when I plug in the Akai EIE, all targets disappear from the list and EIE does not show up. Irig Midi is working fine but my setup is now centered around the Akai, working great with every other app and hardware I've thrown at it, and I would love to include Lemur. Liine states that Lemur works with any standard Midi Interface through the CCK, seems like that might not be the case.
It wouldn't be so bad if all available targets didn't disappear, i could just use the mighty MidiBridge as a workaround but alas that's not the case. Thanks again for your efforts!
