problem to write some signs on the computer keyboard

hello,
in the lemur editor programm i cant write some signs:

{ } and [ ].
i have a mac pro with mountlion and a logitech keyboard. i must push [alt] + 5 to make the sign [,
[alt] + 6 is ]
[alt] + 8 is {
and [alt] + 9 is }

but in lemur editor i cant write this signs?

Hi
Not sure why you would be using Alt codes, and those numbers don't look right as they are too low . . .
There should be {}[] keys just to the right of the P key and then the |\ key - the || is very useful for OR operations . . .
You may need to find a keyboard that has these keys natively if yours doesn't . . .

it's the keyboard layout ... Swiss German in my case. I also use alt 5/6 for [] and alt 8/9 for {} for the Mac. But it works in the Lemur editor. The same keyboard in Windows has those keys next to P or ö, but also with the right alt key.

I guess you can do it if you change the keyboard layout to US English.

I have also notced some Problems with the Brackets. Often i have to hit ALT 7/8/9/0 twice to get the bracket.

hm, just have tested with english tastatur layout. yes! now it runs and i can use all brakets i need....

but isnt there any way to use also german layout. in all other programms alt+5 alt+6 alt+7 ... are recognised. only lemur cant read it?
