New iPad Air and Lemur

I have been very anxiously awaiting the day I would be purchasing an iPad 4 for the sole purpose of being a Lemur control surface. This morning I sat down to FINALLY order it, but wait, there's a new iPad. It was just announced this morning and it's going to be available November 1st. My concern is that if I buy the new iPad Air that it won't work with the Lemur app. It comes with iOS7 installed and just last month on the Lemur facebook page they warned people not to upgrade to iOS7 just yet. I also read that people weren't having issues with iOS7. I suppose I could wait awhile longer for an Air and hope for the best right off the bat, then if there were any major problems they will be fixed sometime later. BUT... the new iPad Air has a new processor chip. An A7 as apposed to the A6 in the iPad 4. I was wondering if this could pose as a risk to compatibility. Hopefully this would just make the Lemur app that much more powerful. There is also a new feature where they have added two antennas for added wireless speed. This also seems very advantageous to the Lemur user.
So the bottoms line is that It would be great to get the newest model of iPad. I think it's advantages would be worth the extra cash. On the other hand, if it doesn't even work with the Lemur app, then I wouldn't want it at all.
Will Liine need to go out of their way to make the Lemur app work on the iPad Air? Would they if need be? What are your thoughts? Should I just go get an iPad 4 now?
