Mac: lemur ports do not appear in Lemur [solved]

just recently I discovered that all virtual MIDI ports on the Mac do not appear in Lemur. Only the virtual MIDI ports of Windows machines appear.
The connection Lemur-Mac is fine, and using Lemur with OSC works as it should. Also the editor. So it is only the MIDI that seems to be broken. And reading this post

it seems it is a general problem, even with hardware ports (CoreMidi).
I run a beta version of Lemur editor/daemon, and tried to install v.4.1. The installation failed. That's another surprise, such a thing has never happened before. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? My guess is, everything is right, but the current Lemur version seems to have a bug with MIDI and Mac virtual ports and iPad CoreMidi. Although I had no connection problems with internal apps (littlemidi) and hardware (iRigMIDI).
Edit: the last sentences are probably not true. Manually installing the current Lemur solved the problem at once. See my last post. It was just that, nothing else. However, the 4.1.1 installer still fails to execute. Transferring the app files manually do the trick.
