I'm sure ill fail here and there and as I'm just getting started it won't start out being perfect.
I work with sound for film and TV. But in most studios we don't have any hardware controllers, but I always have my iPad mini with me.
My basic concept is not to have a a multitude of buttons and controls on my main GUI page.
So all the major intuitive controls that I need while Editing/premixing but don't have a controller. But still showing the important controls and feedback elements I need.
Main page: selected channel with Fader, sends (1-4 or 5-8), EQ, HP/LP filter and surround panner. Automation controls.
Second page: edit page with macros, marker handling, simply a lot of buttons

Third page: 8 channel page with a single selectable send for each channel.
Multiple detail pages: details with expanded views of panner, eq, sends etc.
I'm still working on moving stuff around.
And yes it all looks a tad big, but it needs to work on a iPad mini.
