Updating Lemur Editor Corrupted Templace on Mac

I had just updated the lemur editor for the first time in a year or more and when I went to connect my lemur to the mac and open my favorite custom template in the editor it corrupted it 
and all i see is a big old lemur head. Is it possible to download the template from my ipad? Hoping to get this fixed so I can go back to tweaking it.
Just discovered the new (to me) in app editor. Would still like to be able to get this template to the laptop again
