Greetings,
I'm actually trying to assist a friend of mine in getting Lemur to communicate via USB in Windows but we're running into problems and cant understand why...He is connecting via USB through the Behringer ipad Dock as wifi is not an option.
In the Lemur app itself, we are selecting the dock as the From and To target as per the Alesis io Dock video tutorial on the site. Then we go into Cubase - The dock is already listed as active in the devices menu and he can see that MIDI is
being sent when touching the faders in Lemur but it wont communicate with the DAW.
One of my main questions is - Is Lemur Daemon still necessary when using MIDI USB? We were unable to establish a connection in the Daemon via this connection.
In searching through the internet there was not much assistance available when trying to get to the root of this issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: Trouble using USB MIDI in Windows/Cubase.
Ok - so figured out some solutions and we can communicate in the DAW now. The main problem now is that we cannot connect to the lemur editor without a wifi connection - im trying to send him my lemur template but there is not way to get it synchronized on his iPad - is it not possible to use Lemur Editor without a wifi connection?
Thanks again for any assistance

you can transfer jzml template files with iFunbox or iTunes using a USB cable.
