Interested in Building a Cartesian Sequencer

Hello guys, I use modular synths in my day to day music making and there's a sequencer in Eurorack called the Rene. http://www.makenoisemusic.com/rene.shtml

It's a very interesting type of sequencing and I like it so much that I'd like to try and make it on Lemur to use with all of my plugins. I've never made a sequencer in Lemur and was wondering if there are any specific tutorials that I could look at?

Also, I've been searching the forums and I've heard that Lemur has timing issues? Could anyone elaborate on those issues and what causes them?

Thanks!

I don't think that Lemur is really up to sequencing.

There are a couple of simple four track templates in the library and I have got one to output to four channels.

It works but it is not constant. You can here the tempo slipping occasionally. It's best if you leave a page open with it running. As soon as you switch tabs or anything a little slip.

This is running other apps on iPad. May be better on external midi.

Thanks for the reply, yeah you were right about the timing being inconsistent. I am going to try and write the patch using OSC with M4L instead. We'll see how it goes!

Definitely, a better approach - unfortunately!
