Tempo sync/quantization problem ABreakpoint 2 in Ableton

I've had the ABreakpoint 2 set up in Ableton for a couple of weeks and enjoy the randomness, but I couldn't really use it with any beats because it generated notes with no timing. Earlier this evening I went to a friends house and all of a sudden it was in sync, and holy frijoles it was amazing. It was inspiring enough to where I left my friends house because I wanted to play around with it uninterrupted. I get it home and set back up, and it's not in sync anymore, and the note patterns sound like a drunken cripple falling down a flight of stairs. I'm beyond frustrated!! I get a taste of what it can do and then it loses its own timing!! Can anybody help?? I'm running Ableton Live 8 on a MacBook Pro, and using the Lemur app on an iPad 2 if that helps. Thanks in advance!!

Travis

Problem has been fixed. I had been unknowingly running the NoSync template instead of the EXTCLOCK template. Works like a charm now! Many thanks to Antonio Blanca for all of his help. He is as helpful as much as he is a genius for designing such ways to interact with sound. The man and his products are just top-notch across the board.

Hi Treppert,

I am also having the same problem.

The version of breakpoint 2 that comes with the lemur ipad app works fine but when i installed the clock ext template it loads up but does not seem to send any midi signal.

where did you download your template?

hope u can help, thanks:)
