Hi, i have recently purchased TouchOSC for my Ipad and i've built a basic template using the editor to replace my UC-33 controller. Just one volume fader per channel and 3 assignable rotaries for each channel. The main thing i can't figure out is how to actually assign these faders and rotaries to parameters within Ableton Live. Can someone please explain the part i'm missing? I'm using Windows. I've got Midiyoke installed. Do i have to use Puredata?
I'd really appreciate it if someone can help me, i'm about to give up.....
I've used the Livecontrol template and it's really impressive but for playing live i'd like a much simpler template, Touchable has also come close but is still more complex than i need.
Many thanks
Dave

Re: Building templates
puredata works well...i've experimented with it. there a re a few tutorials online that walk you through it... here's a few of my bookmarks.
walk through this:

i'm trying to figure out a way to make TouchOSC speak directly to Live with just OSC...no success yet...
