Hopefully someone would kind enough to assist. I've looked all over and cannot find my answer on how to do this.

I have created a knob that is controlling a macro knob in ableton live . But it can be difficult to dial into a specific value so I want to assign a pad that will control the knob . Each time I press the button it will move the knob up one value. I would also create another pad so I can move down a value. I assume I would need to create a script and have been trying to copy some examples I found in the manual but no success. I have no experience with programing. Can anyone lay this out for me? I would greatly appreciate it. Tim

And here is a more complex one with delayed repeat function (keeping the pad pressed contnues to increment-decrement knob) with pre-delay (how much time before repeat starts) and delay (how fast the repeating is done) settings

what will i use to send cc data out? the knob? and will it repeat the same cc#? not the value,,,its nice i will try it later
