Hi
Windows requires virtual MIDI drivers like MIDI Yoke or LoopBe to be setup properly - This is not necessary with Mac OS . . .
Do you have either of these on your system? Perhaps your MIDI is not set up properly.. . .
Sounds like you have input but your output is not working . ..
Send in details of your MIDI connections / setup - perhaps a fellow Win user can post theirs . . .

regarding virtual MIDI ports in Windows, I had best experience with loopmidi. The other ones work as well, but loopmidi appears to be the best solution. Like rtpMIDI from the same programmer. Incredible that both programs are based on voluntary donations.
Regarding Lemur functionality, we need more information about the setup . . . c'est comme ça.

sorry if my post was kind of misleading. You can use any virtual MIDI port of course, but in the case of Ambivalent Beats which makes use of a Max patch, they aren't needed to make it work.
Ah, now I remember. I've struggled a bit with that as well, and I said the same thing, it's boring!
There are two things to do which are important:
1. the M4L device must be on the left to the Drumrack, in the same MIDI channel
2. load samples into the lowest section of the Drumrack
Then it will work instantly.

Thanks Phill999 for your help ..
I ve the same result, nothing . I ve the time code light run on the Ipad but no send midi.
I ve a question, why if I load a template , there s some fader who send and another no , it's a problem ?
Its this result on the " ambivalent 5 rack " load by an user, the fader on page 2 send midi , but another fader on the same page not send ?
its the same for the drum pad , he dont send midi and the fader on the page 2 send ! why ??
thanks for your help
( sorry for my english who are not really ok )

Max for Live doesn't use MIDI, it uses Open Sound Control (OSC).
1. create a new project in Ableton Live. You will see an audio track and a MIDI track. Delete the audio track
2. drop the Ambivalent Beats.amxd (the M4L device) in the field below the mixer ("Drop Audio Effects Here")
3. drop a Drumrack in the same field right next to the M4L device, and make sure there are samples in the lowest section of the Drumrack (that's probably the part that you are missing)
In case it still doesn't work, you can also write a pm in French.

Hi Guys
I'd forgot about OSC - pretty sure the issue is that you do not have your OSC 0 target set.
Point it at your computer & port 8000 and you should be right.
Cheers
