Control Change 2's Complement

I want to control Live's "tempo fine" adjustment. Up to now I have been using a midi controller where the knob assigned to that parameter was set as "relative" and inside Live the parameter was set to respond to CC Control Change in "Relative 2's Complement" mode. With this configuration I could have absolute control of Live's fine tempo adjustment, incrementing-decrementing always at 0.01 steps. I tried to recreate the same set up by using the "endless relative knob" found in Lemur's user library but I get erratic behavior - possibly because this relative knob is not a 2's complement one? I tried all of the available "relative" modes of Ableton but couldnt get any decent result - at best, in one mode I could only get the fine adjustment to work in steps of 0.50 - nothing like the accuracy I had with my other, physical controller.

This may be pretty basic to the programmers in here, so any hints or directions?

Hi
Try this
^^Relative-2'sCompl EndlessKnob.jzlib
(3.38 KiB) Downloaded 98 times
Map it in Live and make sure you select Relative 2's Comp as the Mode

Endless control at 0.01 bpm increments . . .

Cheers
MM

Ohhhh thank you very much! Im not used to getting stuff ready, usually a help is enough so this is much appreciated! I will examine to see how it works!

If it works as intended I will implement it in a super beautiful-elegant-simple "AbletonBPMcontrol" module to share with the community! This was the missing link! ;)
