Not getting correct MIDI ports to show up
In the tutorials I've been using to set up LiveControl with Ableton and my iPad it tells me the ports that should show up should say "from Live Control 1" or "from Live Control 2" but all i get is "Microsoft Synthesizer" and "Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth." In both the tutorials I've found, they are set up to be ran on MAC OS so it can be a little bit confusing at times. One of the tutorials says to download and install MIDI Yoke, which I did, but it's a very outdated program and there are no instructions on what to do with it, it just says to download it if you're on a PC (which I am/windows 7 to be exact). I've attached two photos that show you what LiveControl is showing me, any help would be greatly appreciated as I've been trying to figure this out for a couple of hours! Thanks!
