VPN & Lemur

Hi Everybody,
Has anybody gotten lemur to work over VPN? I have got most things working except for the midi targetting things. This means for example that the editor doesnt see the iPad over VPN but it can connect with it fine by directly going to its IP. OSC stuff transmits fine too, only midi is not working.
