Hi
Currently - no there isn't though it is on the wish list, no time frame though . . .
I have used 4 or 5 grouped Leds set to transparent to give a larger indicator on occasion.

Yup +1 for softcore. use the 'arc' or make a different shape led too
I attached a quick just plain old circle led just in case you're unfamiliar with canvas to give you an idea. You could add more design and make it look nice.

oh, and for led text, I attached an example of how to do that with the text object, one example is with color and the other is with the light
