Hi All,
I've just added a new Cubase Control Template with ( I think ) some nice functions. Please try it and leave feedback. Just read the included Readme for further information.
Thanks,
Markus

nice one! I find it a good idea to wrap everything into one single interface, and you managed to do it well.

One question: do you also experience some lag for the transport functions and edit VST?

Thank you! Not yet, but I'll test it thoroughly this month when making music, and add the things I have not thought about :D. I noticed a lag with the fader while it was included in the first Generic Control, so I made the second Midi just for the fader, maybe it is also good to put the transports only to a new Mid Port?!

no lag? Interesting. I always have some lag of about one second when using certain commands. Looking forward for your future experiences.

The Template has been completely rearranged and now Mackie Control for 16 Channels has been added - downloadable at the Users templates...

Just added that channel turns green  when selected and some pictures for setup explanation.. Enjoy. That's it for now. I'll be soldering my patchbay and do some real life experience while making music and see if there are any bugs or functions that I left out. If theres anything/ features you wanna have please PM me..
Cheers,
Markus

Hey Markus,

This is an excellent Cubase template. Thank you so much for the effort!

There are a few things I would like to ask you:

The "copyinbetween.xml" is used for Cubase 5 (and earlier). Cubase 6 now stores the shortcuts in a .key file.
First of all, why do you need this key-command file? What does it do? Your template seems to be working (almost) fine without it.

Is there any chance you could make one for Cubase 6 or let me know of the bindings so that I can create it for you?

Also, there seems to be a little 'bug' with the Jog Wheel. Sometimes it stops working and I need to restart Cubase.

There are also other minor issues I would like to ask you in person if possible, for example, is there a way to better align the track names underneath the faders?
I.e. maybe put them onto two rows? Is there a guide/tutorial for setting this up?

Many thanks!

Regards,
Jason

I also can't use the copyinbetween.xml file. Also, the faders seem to be causing the pitch of the midi notes to go up along with the volume when I push them up. I'm using a mac so I'm not using loopmidi, but the communication seems to be working ok. Other than that, the template seems pretty solid.
