So I spent my first couple of templates doing straight ahead control setups for the minimoogVoriginal plugin and the organized trio plugin. Now I started on one for the ALWAYS free MinimogueVA (a classic! free vst). I got the front end nicely done then realized that I was wasting all the potential of Lemur and so started a second page interface with pads, ADSR sliders, multiballs, etc. and have been playing with it as I go. It opens up a whole new world on instruments that previously took several turns to mess with the sound. Now those same instruments are completely flexible in nanoseconds and it is crazy! So quickly getting sounds out of this free VST I wouldn't have imagined and now thinking about switchable possibilities.

seriously must stop templating...
Obsessive Template making will be the >>> of me...
Re: Obsessive Template making will be the >>> of me...
completely understand you. February 2012 it was the same for me. Day and night ... exhausting, frustrating, thrilling. Only difference maybe that I was much slower than you. I had to restart again and again, then hit the 512 kB limit that thanks to the developer team is no more, made a lot of mistakes too. Now Lemur is an integral part of my studio, and even more important on the road.
Enjoy.
Enjoy.

Hi
Definitely hear ya there - as do many I am sure . . .
Welcome to a new world of possibilities
Looking through ALL the Library Projects whilst daunting reveals many gems.
Though similarly it may lead to reviewing many of your earlier patches.
Very quickly you will end up with far more ideas then you would have thought possible.
And then you'll forget what that one particular one is and spend an hour looking for it.
And along the way come across a whole heap more interesting stuff as well . . .
Hmmm - Better stop, Not sure this is really helping . . .

Re: Obsessive Template making will be the >>> of me...
I guess a small goal here would be to create a template that becomes Premium Content.
I am actually considering using some of the recent LFO studio stuff to implement a local LFO generator in Lemur to control multiball/breakpoint objects. It would be nice to have a small screen rendering of things. It's too bad some of the objects are limited to bigger sizes, but I imagine to some degree it may stay that way for legacy users? Not really a problem. My iPad2 will work for quite some time.
