deamon port problems and editor GUI issues help!!

hey people.
few problems that i hope are coming from my own stupidity and can be helped by those of you who been through this before.

im on windows XP

ad hock network is set up, lemur sees the network and connects.
midi loop set up with A and B just like in the video.

but

when i try to link a local port to lemur in the deamon, it gives me the midiloop ports to choose from in the local port menu, but fails to give me anything to connect them to in the next step.
also, in the set up menu on the ipad app it fails to give me any ports to choose from.

And another thing...

i cant use the editor. the graphics are destroyed so i can see whats going on. looks like an old atari game. help

any input would be fantastic

Ok, worked out the conncetion problem. Was stupid, still had my ethernet plugged in eating up the ports.

Still screwed with the graphics tho. Any light shed upon the issue is greatly recived.
