howdy. a question about encoders in Lemur.
do encoders send data in response to how fast you are spinning them?

Hi
By encoder I guess you mean a Knob, possibly in Endless mode . . .
See section 12.5 for details about the Knob . . .
Basically, out of the box, the answer is 'no' . . .
but it would be possible to write a script to produce this info and use it
Cheers

yes, i do mean a "knob in endless mode," simulating a physical rotary encoder component common in many electronics.
hm. that's too bad, but at least the option is there for users to DIY.
has anyone already DIT? at very least a proof of concept that i could plagiarize?
i guess you could say that Lemur needs a knob job.
i'm hesitant to pay to play only to then have to code in what i need. nothing against a model that creates a "crafty end user," i just already have enough tinkering going on in my rig. is there a lemur demo that i can use to determine the ease of this?
