CC range from Kontrolab2 not transmitting properly

Hi,
I'm completely new with Lemur IOS and am trying to setup a synth in Logic 9 to receive midi from Kontrolab2. Everything works fine except that when I use midi learn to assign one of the midi balls, the assigned knob is not smooth. Rather it flips quickly and jerkily, almost like it an on off switch instead of smoothly interpolating from 0-127. I see in Kontrolab that things are smoothly transitioning but when its gets over to Logic its a different story. Its as though it switches from 0 to 127 in one increment when the ball is in the middle of its range. I'm using an an ad-hoc wifi connection and Lemur daemon. It seems to work ok unless I re-assign the ball. Its exactly the same behavior in Ableton Live 8 and a couple other Lemur Templates that I tried.
Any clues about why this is happening would be greatly appreciated,
Greg
