Lemur Daemon startup error

We just installed Windows 7 on a Macbook pro because of some problems we've been having with Ableton and Massive and now we're getting this error "Unable to use Direct3D, please install Directx" on bootup when windows tries to load the Lemur Daemon. I uncheck the start at boot check box in the Lemur Daemon and the message doesn't appear. Also when this happens the Lemur Daemon doesn't actually load and I then have to load it manually.

I don't mind starting it manually when I start the computer but I thought I would make a post anyways.

thanks

I am also having this issue. Annoying because it prevents Lemur Daemon from starting up upon startup. any suggestions?

Yes I had this issue with the last v3.1 daemon, but disabled it in msconfig start menu which stopped the direct3d error warning from happening, and when I updated to 3.2 I decided not to have the daemon auto start. So I can't say for sure if this has been fixed in the latest update or whether it is still. What version of the daemon are you using?

Anyway, I would suggest that for now just reinstall and choose not to have the daemon auto start, and then try again when the next update comes out.

Just installed the 4.01 version today. Still the same error I had over a year ago, also unchecking the start at boot check box keeps checked after restarting. Very annoying...
