Apparently this is being worked on, via email from support.
If the horizontal sizing bar disappears when you run the editor, make sure you have the editor set to run as administrator.

Really?
Oh for fucks sake . . .
If an application requires Admin rights just to run in this day and age, that application is broken.
Does anyone @ Liine run Windows as a primary system? Hell, is there anyone @ Liine that doesn't actively detest Windows?

Total let down.
Liine what's going on? Could you please post an official update on how this issue is getting addressed?
This is a major problem for a lot of users out there, and the "workaround" of resizing the editor/daemon windows as mentioned in the previous posts does not really work.
The editor does resize but every time it requires a manual, time-consuming, fine position/size adjustments in order to have everything displayed (to fit) in the screen. If this wouldn't be enough, the editor eventually grinds to a halt and crashes.
No OTHER program in my (own personal) W8 setup exhibits this behavior, and I run a ton of stuff, I mean A TON OF SOFTWARE (wont waste time listing).

My solution works, single click.

Hi Joe,
I assume you are referring to WinSplit?
I'll check it out...

Yep.
'Course . . . when I say "single click" you gotta set it up to do that - or a hotkey-combo works, it has a fairly decent set of options and capabilities. Deeper than it looks, much handier than just as an interim workaround for the Editor windowing woes.
Definitely check out the help / instructions.
I think it's likely more than a few people looked at it . . . none too carefully, thought "Joe's functionally-retarded" and binned it.
Well, that may be so - but the app's a little gem.

Cool, thanks.
However, ultimately it would be in Liine's best interest to take this (or other win OS related) issue at heart. Failing to keep up (for too long anyway) with major OS releases is troublesome... Look at how Logic eventually pulled away from Window's systems. Lucky they had Apple picking up the tab... Sales of Logic are at an historical low now. Liine appears to be falling behind the eight-ball (so to speak) with this. I'm not sure what are their programming resources (or lack of) and priorities, but I will not lose any sleep on it.
