From page 516 Live manual -
The Workflow option determines how Push behaves when the Duplicate, New, or Up/Down arrow buttons are pressed. Which mode you choose depends on how you like to organize your musical ideas. In Scene Workflow (which is the default), musical ideas are organized and navigated in scenes. In Clip Workflow, you’re working with only the currently selected clip.

In Scene Workflow:

•Duplicate creates a new scene containing all of the currently playing clips, and seamlessly switches to playing them back. This is the same as the Capture and Insert Scene command in Live’s Create menu (page 93).
•New is identical to Duplicate, except that it does not duplicate the currently selected clip. Instead, an empty clip slot is prepared, allowing you to create a new idea in the current
•the Up/Down Arrows move up or down by a single scene. Playback of the clips in the new scene begins seamlessly.

In Clip Workflow:

•Duplicate creates a copy of the currently selected clip in a new scene, while continuing playback of any currently playing clips in other tracks. (Tip: hold Shift while pressing Duplicate to create a new scene containing all of the currently playing clips.)
•New prepares an empty clip slot on the currently selected track. Clips in other tracks are not affected.
•the Up/Down Arrows move up or down by a single scene. Playback of the currently selected track’s clip in the new scene begins seamlessly. Clips in other tracks are not affected.
As I mentioned in a previous post, the other settings accessible when the User button is held down are to do with pad sensitivity and velocities.

I'm guessing its a version issue.

Bloody great work Wul - Congrats . .

To the others - have a hack at it yourselves - alter it to suit yourself.
A zoomed display and encoders is pretty easy - first thing I did. Just copy/paste, enlarge etc
Probably be a good feature for someone with an actual hardware grid like Launchpad to play and use iPad for Push style feedback . . .

Anyway -perhaps just have a go at changing it to how you like rather then just requesting for changes . . .

Cheers
MM

Copy Paste and enlarge into another interface, is the only way , as you can't script font size within the zoom script. also bear in mind if you try to change the existing interfaces themselves they will revert back to the original positions next time you zoom, zoom just repositions and resizes, saves on resources.

Thanks wul, will give this a go later today. I have a Launchpad and NativeKontrol's LPC-Ditto script so maybe I can combine them with Shove and have everything but pressure sensitive pads! Now if only I could use the 8 knobs on my keyboard... :)

You can configure the knobs to work on hardware , E.g. maschines endless encoders work , in fact the display can be displayed on maschines displays too.

Amazing.i have a nanokontrol, how to achieve this??? can you tell us how it,s the process or where parts of the scripts we have to modify? My nanokontrol sends midi cc, what ccs are associate with the shove encoders? I really don,t need the display, but be able to use the encoders via hardware that would be beyond awesome.

oh i see the encoders on shove are cc 71,72,... i will try this settings on nanokonrol!
Thanks in advance!

oh, i managed to work the knobs on my nanokontrol, but they don,t work well. The parameters moves very quickly and in reverse! Maybe it,s because it,s not a endless encoder?

Oh my goodness, copying the display and encoders to another screen is so easy. Guess I'll be spending the rest of the day working out a layout for my Shove/Launchpad hybrid and making it pretty!

Managed to get the knobs on my M-Audio Ozonic interacting with Shove's encoders but like others, the controls are way too fast and reversed. Need to dig out M-Audio's Enigma and see how I can reprogram them.

I'm excited...!

They have to be endless encoders set to relative , then the sensitivity set accordingly.

@kpmc pasting L'Pad in will need L'Pad s objects configuring to lemur midi1 else they will conflict
