that's perfectly fine. No doubt this will be not an easy task, and I'm glad that you even consider working on it. I just saw today, for the first time actually, how the 5.7 version behaves, and understand now the problem better. I just wanted to point out to Endorfinity that the old editor probably will work with his setup.

And, with a bit of scrolling, the 5.7 editor can nevertheless be used. I'm quite thrilled with the Bitmaps!

But with the 5.4 editor it works. You can download the 5.4 version at the Midikinetics website.
I'll try that, thanks!

EDIT: no luck

that's a pity. Maybe you can borrow a high resolution monitor from a friend? 2500+ pixels. Maybe this could work as an temporary solution.

not possible. currently moving lines of code to and from Windows Notepad

not the best workaround to be honest, so next update with the fix will be much appreciated

always good when one finds a solution.

I've just realised that all the time I've been working with editor v.5.3.4, not v.5.4. Except on my main computer with two HD monitors where I had 5.4 installed (which was not convenient because of the fonts).

Good news! Installing 5.3.4 on the main computer makes the editor usable. Since this computer has a similar monitor setup as yours, it should work for you too. Installing 5.3.4 is straight forward. Quit Lemur daemon, and install. If you want to go back to 5.4, it's the same procedure. No need to deinstall anything. Good luck.

Woooo, it worked! Thanks for taking your time, Phil!

Some features are missing but at this stage I'm really happy just to use the damn thing as it was supposed to be :D
