Hello Antonio,
I am new to Lemur and find the learning curve is HUGE! I was wondering if there was any sort of guide for the Abreakpoint template? I think it is wonderful but I feel like I'm in the dark when putting it to use. Also, is there a way to stretch the template for the iPad? I realize there is a stretcher but I am on a PC so its of no use to me. Thanks for any info...and congrats on the amazing work!!!

Hi Nexusofst!

Welcome to the lemur world ;) Unfortunately I have not a user guide for ABreakpoint, I've tried, but I've found my english skills are not good enough to write a detailed guide as I would do using my language (spanish)

However, feel free to ask if you have any specific question, I would be than happy to help.

Also, a new version of ABreakpoint including note triggering quantized by external midi clock is on way, will be released pretty soon with other of my lemur patches using iPad screen resolution, if you're interested take a look here:

Many thanks for your kind words and happy holidays! ;)

Thank you! My email is nexusofst@hotmail.com

As for the questions...I was wondering how exactly the midi notes are triggered. Does each little node represent a note mapped to the keyboard? If not, is it possible to set them up like that? I guess my just not sure how to control this midi notes. Or are they just placed randomly? Sorry if the questions seem superficial but I know nothing about programing or scripting.

HI,

you're welcome ;)

just sent the doc, that should to help answering your questions about of pitch settings, if doesn't, or have other question, just let me know, I would try to explain it.

If you have reaktor, you can download this one too:

http://co.native-instruments.com/index. ... chid=10627

it allows to enter the notes manually for every node, even to use your MIDI keyboard for melody transposition, it was inspired in some way from ABreakpoint patch.

Cheers,

sounds like an evil plan!
Currently there is a 128 Max OSC connections in reaktor, however new versions I am working are optimized to use several templates, for example Skrewell+Spacedrone MOD is a combo I have in mind, ABreakpoint it is a MIDI template, so no problem with that, except it requires to cut/paste some scripting. I can do that for you if you want.

hi antonio,
the planned skrewell+spacedrone mod sounds like a good starting point for me. ;)
when i tried to put the eso wave and abreakpoint together i ran into the problem of the missing 'root' script...
i started a thread on that (http://liine.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=699) but haven't sorted it out yet. how do i do it and what do i have to watch out for when pasting several scripts together?
the monomod lemur template is out (http://aumhaa.blogspot.com/) and i wanna start putting all together.
is graincube also midi or osc ?

best,
gee hgt

Hi hgt!

Regarding merging Abreakpoint+Esowave, seems like the user Macciza did that already ( thanks man! ;) )

Take a look here: http://liine.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=753

Regarding reaktor templates, I would suggest you to wait for the new versions that I am working for every template (will be released very soon), and there are many improvements on both sides, reaktor programming and Lemur. Yes graincube works with OSC too, also almost ready a totally new version for it.

I will keep you posted ;-)

Happy new year! ;)

happy new year to you too!!

thanx a lot for the macciza link.

is there gonna be a problem running osc and midi pages along from the same template?

cheers,
