Once you have connection between Lemur and the computer the Live setup should be the same as for any MIDI device . .

I worked out that the problems I was having with bidirectional is the weird labelling of ports in the ipad app (plus the fact that assignments tend to overwrite each other when made in the app). When I made the connections in the Daemon, it started to work (iPad > Daemon input 1, Daemon output 1 > iPad).

In real life use I'll be using wired MIDI so I suspect this will be more straightforward.

Once you get to understand it all the Daemon and multiple ports can be very handy and powerful . .
