Hi All
I use the iConnect MIDI interface and certainly recommend it. at least on Mac.
It lets you go into the computer, has two DIN MIDI ports and USB for 8 more standard compliant devices
All of these end up accessable from either iPad Lemur or from the computer - well worth the cost . .
cheers

Re: Lemur iPad Via USB?
Why so complicated ??
use your USB charge cable!!
The Way I use my iPad as a MIDI Controller for a Macbook Pro:
- Connect your iPad with your Macbook over the original Apple USB cable
- enable Tethering
- Open Audio / Midi Setup on the Macbook
- go to the Midi Window, open "Network" and create a new session (upper left)
- press connect under the listed device and maybe change the local name to see it at a glance in any music, light or midi application.
- choose the seesion name in lemur settings as a midi target!
- Now you can e.g. choose this connection in Studio One and map all the things you need
...this works without installing any deamons or osc software !!! (dunno how to do it with a wifi only ipad?)
cheers and good luck

I'm confused - doesn't this connect it as Bluetooth? How is this working over USB cable?cybamurks wrote:Why so complicated ??
