LemurLoader Max/Msp External

Post by AudioLemon »

Hello,

Could somebody direct me to the LemurLoader External for Max/Msp. I would like my M4L device to be able to automatically see iPads connected to my network... in the same way the Lemur Editor can.

Thanks

hi

I don't know max external who do that, but if one do it I'm interested.
otherwise you can make a script whose "on load" send iPad name or what you want, like "iPad 1" "iPad 2"...
but, on max/maxforlive the important are mac address and IP port... not specially to select iPad name... if you don't have good network config, nothing come...

on mac you can create a personal wifi network/configuration with specified and fix address. at each time you select this config you can have the same Mac address... or write the new (if automatic) on lemur settings.

Next, On Max or maxforlive you have to used udpsend and receive for send/receive data from lemur ( at specified address and port). OSC-route for route object address...
you can used external "mxj net.local" to get your mac address. if not specified and fix...

Yep.. it was in the Mu package. Fully enough when I downloaded the Mu package it did not have an extension and looked like a plain white file.

I'll try it out later.

Thanks
