Midi lag

Post by djevo1 »

When i am using any of the ball type controls there seems to be a lag where mostly the y becomes very jumpy and inaccurate. They are all set to control change and both X and Y have a scale of 1 to 127. It also occurs if I using one of them and another type of control at the same time. It is happening in almost every application i set it up in.

Hi
Really need more info?
Lag where? In the MIDI stream? Over what connection? How is it set up? How are you doing it? etc . .

WiFi MIDI is inherent 'glitchy' due to the transport layer, via a router even more so,
Wired MIDI should be quite accurate depending on hardware etc
Where you analyse will also have an effect on the figures , . . .

Send in more info . . .
