Strymon TimeLine Controller

Post by vandemons »

Hi!

Thought I would check in and say thankyou for all the help getting started with Lemur.

I am about %50 of the way through a Timeline Effects pedal template, things are going well and learning fast (again thanks to this board)

I am stuck on a couple of items I am hoping to get a newbie walk-through with.

1) Trying to create a BANK up and down Pad(s) to control the Strymon Presets. The only change I get with the control bounces to preset 64 on some of the setting I'm trying, otherwise nothing.

Program Change Selected
Scale 0 -127
Channel 1 to 1
Rising Label Selected (goes to 64 on the decreasing one)

2) What is the best way to create a label page for presets? I'd like to get my 12 favs on one page and a single push PAD for each.

Keep in mind, I about 2 days into this program, so I am sorry in advance, but Im sure I'll need some Step by Step direction for now. Experiment and reading the posts to this point got me a working controller and now I'm hooked!

When I get this down the plan is to get the Mobuis connected to this set-up as well, I have seen much talk about it, so maybe I can get the template done and post it.

Here is a ready-made program change interface. Im NOT taking credit for it, the one with the fader can be found in the user library - I just altered it a bit and created the second one you 'll see in the project. ;)
programchange.jzml
(12.5 KiB) Downloaded 130 times
Use the fader or arrow keys to navigate through presets - press "pc" button to confirm/send the message.

P.S.: As for using pads to specifically set your fav 12 presets...here's more info:

Thanks much for the reply, the template work's great. It's great to see what I wasn't programing in to make it work. Again learning a lot. I'm going to try and mod them to split between the A and B presets. Still working on the Fav menu.

Is there anyone else using lemur for guitar effects? Just would like to hear about your experience. I think this is the prefect app for the strymon platform, opens the pedals up to really dig into the depth.
