I currently have Mu 1.2 installed with Ableton Live 2.3.4 & M4L + Max 6.08. iPad 3, iOS 6
I've copied the MU 1.2 directory into the Max 6/Cycling '74 directory, and have opened the amxd in Live. The Mu template is successfully loaded to the Lemur app running on the iPad. I can launch clips and control the transport, set panning, and operate a few other controls successfully.
However, there are also a few problems. When I try to select a device for editing, the device controls never appear on the iPad. Instead, the screen just continues to display "Open Device Browser ---->". If I then open the device in Max for editing, the device controls begin appearing (but still don't completely work, or only work for a brief period of time.)
Also, when I try to Arm a track, it doesn't work, and an error message appears in the Max Window: "live.observer: Master or Sendtracks have no 'Arm' state."
Anyone else seeing these problems? Are there any updates for this template?

Does it work for you with Max 5.1.9?
Max 6 isn't really supported for MFL so (forgive me if you've already tried this) that's an obvious first step to troubleshooting.
I could be wrong, but I think some integration (?) of LiveControl is due to be the successor to Mu? Or so Macciza hinted at elsewhere. I was a bit disappointed at the news in the context it was mentioned (the possibility of having Griid modules available inside Lemur <3 ) - but it's probably a handy step up from Mu in many respects.

Re: Mu 1.2: no device editors are displayed
Thanks for the reply.
Ableton does officially support M4L and Max 6 (https://www.ableton.com/en/articles/max ... -max-live/)—and I also have Max 5 installed, but it does not work.
I'll check out LiveControl and see if that will do what I need. In the meantime, I wish I could get Mu to work—it's the whole reason I bought Lemur for iPad in the first place.

Ah yeah - Ableton seem to have basically switched all documentation for this to reflect Live 9 from when they announced it and relaunched the website.
AFAICG, under Live 8 only Max 5 is supported. Doesn't really seem to matter in your situation though, so hey ho.
Sorry. I wasn't much help there really!
