how to build an XY pad with multiple CC outputs

Post by dirtyHeaven »

Goals - make an XYz pad with 1 ball.
- output X, Y, and Z information (CC data) like a normal XY pad.
- output a momentary CC message when a second finger is used while still receiving X, Y, and Z information from the first cursor (first finger).
- output a momentary CC message when third finger is used while still receiving X, Y, and Z information from the first cursor (first finger).

this would allow great control over synths/samples. imagine sliding a fader down (with one finger) representing the pitch of a sound. than during the slide you touch down your second finger which triggers reverb or a vibrato...etc,etc....while still receiving pitch information from the first finger.

anyone have suggestion?

Why wouldn't you just use a couple of Pads next to your multiball object?

You can use ephemeral balls.

assign CC outputs to x[0],y[0] and z[0]
assign another CC output to x[1] and another to x[2]
