Yo! having problems getting the custom modules option to load
I have followed the instructions exactly:
Copy the "Custom Modules" folder to \Mu\Resources\DeviceControllers
- Copy/Paste the content of "Example.maxpat" into Mu.amxd (to do that you need to edit Mu.amxd from Ableton)
- In Ableton, drag and drop the "Mu_Custom_Modules.jzml" in the Mu
when you open the example.maxpat it loads up two windows, do you copy and paste both sets of objects into the .amxd, I did try both?
Just get 'file failed to load' and a red cross when I click the yellow arrows??
any ideas?

Re: Mu Custom Modules problem
Hi
The Custom Modules projects were designed to get around the filesize limitations of the original hardware
They are kind of no longer relevant, particularly the approach used, as you can just add lots of extra stuff to your Mu project any way . .
Cheers

Re: Mu Custom Modules problem
cool cheers man!
why is this not used then more? how can I add loads of extra stuff to MU without this then?
so...
do I just uplaod my additional patches on the blank screen using Jazzeditor? then just flick through with the pages buttons at the top of legacy?

Re: Mu Custom Modules problem
Hi Scrubber
Sorry did not realise / forgot you were on legacy? Is that right? If so it would help to post in the legacy section
If that is the case then yes you will need to use the custom set because of the hardware memory limit..
I have had it all running before, will have to fire the old beast up and check the setup for you, maybe next week
But just go through it all again and make sure you did everything right - your Mu interface should have that little yellow triangle
And you should be able to see stuff abut the added Max stuff when you look in the device, from memory . . .
Cheers
