my new router solution is working fine at my home-studio which is in an old house in the mountains made of stone, Plaster and wood. But when I take this router and my iPads to our new music room in Zürich (concrete walls, floor and ceiling), I get wifi signal interruptions to my iPads every 30-40 seconds. After the interruption the connection is re-established, but the useability of any wifi-connected app is largely diminished.
I understand that this music room is an almost ideal Faraday Cage. An iron grid all around with a metal door. Mobile phone network is shielded, you get no signal inside the room. But what is happening if the sender and receiver are inside that room? Obviously it leads to short wifi interruptions, while the signal strength is at maximum. Can this be avoided? Are there any router settings that take care of this situation? Many offices are in concrete buildings, this problem must be known, but I couldn't find any solution yet (if there is any).
Does anybody have experience with this?

it looks like I found a simple solution for the problem: switch off the router, wait a moment, and switch it on again. Then there are no interruptions anymore.
It seems it has nothing to do with Faraday Cages. I was fooled for a long time because the problem showed first in that concrete building and not at home.
