Has anyone ever managed to get multipads to respond to note off messages, so after an in comming note on message turns the relevant pad on, the subsequent in comming note off message turns it off.
i appeared to have it working only to find lemur spewing out noteoff messages for every pad.
seems like a basic requirement of a controller that it can't do
note off pads

Re: note off pads
Hi
They should do it it automatically . . .
BUT it appears Live does not actually send noteon vel=0 even if that is what you try to record into it??
Instead it seems to send noteoff vel=64 - which kind off mucks the feedback up a little
With Logic it seems to work ok some the fundamental auto-feedback system is sound , it;s just Live thats a bit weird . . .
For single pads it is easy to get around . . . Array polyphony with overlapping notes is a bit more complex . .
Cheers
