So i have built a live template that allows me to launch cue points from songs. My question is with scripting could a create talk back info similar to the Launch Pad or APC were the clips light up when they are load with audio/MIDI? Also would it be possible to make that talk back info reference the color of the clips loaded? I know little about scripting and am looking for a few pointers on how to accomplish this and if it is possible?
Thanks
scriptting talk back info in Live
Re: scriptting talk back info in Live
You would need to create your own Midi remote scripts for Ableton Live and assign specific CC controllers to specific info-actions.

I guess another way would be to "trick" Ableton into thinking the Lemur is actually an APC/Launchpad but that will require complete knowledge of how these devices are configured (CC assignments, Notes on-offs, midi channels) and your Lemur project to have exact same configurations-CC assignments-notesON-off inside your Lemur project.
Then all you have to do is use the built-in midi remote scripts of Ableton Live
